I don't find the constant username changing funny (both by Sam and Skip).
It does make some quotes in threads confusing, especially to non-regulars. Stand behind your posts and don't hide under different user names.

It is okay to change your username if you really want to use another, but this constant back and forth between three different usernames is not okay in my opinion. I have changed mine the last time before I became active in the forums many years ago.

I was doing it to point out how annoying it is

Anyhow, I'll revert back to my proper username on New Years day.

Complain as you wish, i will do as I wish, thank you. I change my name as I please, and each change has significance in some form or other, if you don't wish to play along that's fine. So far no user has ever figured out the significance behind them and I have several more in the wings. I don't care about Sam's childish copycat game, it only shows him for the SNERT that he is.

I was going to change my name to Forum Moderator: REMOVED but didn't think it would be allowed.

Forum Moderator: You are correct.

Once again, more gobbledygook, Snert is a Danish stew Einstein.

Looks tasty though...

Okay, that brought a snicker. Not a full blown out laugh like Taro's post of awesome yesterday, but a snicker nonetheless.

Totally agree. And even though Skip says there's meaning behind his shizophrenic behavior, it doesn't make it any less ridiculous or confusing for other users when they quote his posts.

Oh and, I'll take a piece of that snert. Looks tasty!

Not bad looking; I'd try it.  I had some Æbleskiver last week--now that's some Danish yummage!

I was gonna say, that looks like pea soup with kielbasa slices on top

Then i googled snert, and the Wikipedia page came up saying it's Dutch Pea Soup

however, it also has a link to the Hägar the Horrible entry saying that Snert is the name of his dog.

Quote:
Snert: Hägar's dog. Snert is supposed to be a bird/hunting dog, but the reader gets the impression that most of the time he just does not feel like working. Snert understands everything Hägar tells him, but usually refuses to do what he is told. Sometimes Snert is depicted as having a "wife" and a couple of puppies, but they hardly play any role at all in the comic.

however, I now want some Pea Soup

Don't know whether Snert is indeed known in Denmark, but it most certainly is in the Netherlands!
It's a thick pea soup, especially suited for the winter season. If you'd like to give it a try: recipe.

BTW the Dutch word "snert" translates into trash or rubbish...
