I just stumbled upon a great fan photo site, not sure if anyone else has contributed it before. Lots of great pics.

http://www.fanpix.net/

For whatever reason, that URL would not work for me, but one can go to http://www.fanpix.net/index/pictures-by-name/a.html and navigate from there.

This update also includes contributions by T!M and deadman36g, for which many thanks

You're very welcome! I have already managed to find almost a hundred new/improved pics for next month's update...

And again, great job on the new update

keep on your good work.

If someone could do a "How to create a backup only for headshot" with picture. This could be great   and I could join you guys and contribute my stuff with everyone

Is this what you had in mind ?

Here are some alternative instructions to create a small and quick to process Headshot database.

Add a manual profile to your database
Add by title - deselect "Download profile from Invelos".
  Call the profile Headshots

When you update a headshot, add it to the Headshots profile (for crew, just use director for every member, don't loose your time by selecting the correct role).

When you are done. Make a full backup of your database.

Create a new database, called HMDB.

Open de new database, and perform a restore with the folowing options:
Select "Restore Specific Profiles" and select only the Headshots profile.
  Deselect "Replace Full User Database"

Perform a database repair with the following options:
  Select "Custom"
  Deselect "Preserve cast/crew with images"

This will remove all castmembers except those attached to the Headshots profile.

Now perform a database backup and select only "Include cast/crew databases, with photos".

This results in a very small update that is quick to process.

I am lost at the step "Create a new database called HMDB".....can you be more specific, please?  I have a bunch of headshots to contribute but I'm not sure what to do at this step.  Thanks.

On the menu, Use File -> Open Database... . A dialog box opens and you can create a new database beside your current one(s). This way you can have multiple collections, aside from the "cast in stone" 4 tabs per collection that was such a limitation in the past.

Creating this new HMDB database is just a means to an end to remove all non-headshot info from the resulting back-up. Obviously, naming it "HMDB" is just a personal choice.

On the nice to know side: Via the same menu you can also move your collection(s) outside the default location in the My Decouments folder, by creating any new db outside it, then moving your collection via the back-up/restore mechanism.

If it is important, say it. Otherwise, let silence speak.

you don't need to use backup/restore. Just create a new database anywhere and ask it to make it a copy of the existing one.

This has been available ever since v3 came out.

Right now, the dummy profile that I'm using for new headshots is a profile in my Wishlist collection, and it's the only thing profile in the Wishlist.  Is there a streamlined version to create a backup just from that?  Or do I have to create another db?

Easiest way is to create a new db. Make a full backup of your db, and only restore your headshots profile to the new database. Then remove all unassigned cast and crew members from your new database, deselect (preserve cast and crew with headshots). This will retain only your updated images.

You just need to open them via "File" --> "Restore Database"

You can choose. Either overwrite all images, or compare every image, then select to overwrite, or keep the original one.

Hallo Donnie,

I think I found 2 errors:

Jim Van Bebber has a foto of Marcelo Games
James Wing Woo has a foto of James Ibrao Sifu

Maybe someone can confirm this.
