If the main feature has a rated and an unrated version of the movie use NR (or Unrated if we get that).
or maybe better...
Rating the main feature only (movie only) If there is an Unrated version as well as a Rated version use NR (or Unrated if we get that). No conditionals, easy to enter. | | | ASSUME NOTHING!!!!!! CBE, MBE, MoA and proud of it. Outta here

The problem with that wording is the UK would need an exception. Not because of Unrated, which we don't have, but because several releases get higher ratings due to bonus content. |

So effectively, this means that the ratings info in DVD Profiler is entirely useless to you - you have to personally remember of each and every disc whether you consider the contents suitable for your grandchildren to watch. To me, it would have seemed like a good idea if the ratings info in DVD Profiler somehow helped you out with this, rather than you having to remember it all. But instead, it seems the info we track there serves no purpose whatsoever. |

An exception for that should be easy enough to write... Rating the main feature only (movie only) If there is an Unrated version as well as a Rated version use NR (or Unrated if we get that). Exception: If you are in a Region/Locality that rates the entire DVD (including Bonus Material) use the DVD rating . | | | Pete | | | Last edited: by Addicted2DVD |

Actually I would like to see the next version be able to catch the extra foreign rating data as necessary. It's currently not necessary stateside, but one never knows. | | | ASSUME NOTHING!!!!!! CBE, MBE, MoA and proud of it. Outta here

Pete, this is perfect, this should be put in stone In Germany we also rate the whole DVD and not only the feature film. So your wording would cover it all :D Donnie | | | www.tvmaze.com |

Exception: If you are in a Region/Locality that rates the entire DVD (including Bonus Material) us the DVD rating. That would work for me. (Sorry I've run out of today! ) |

Usually not a problem for me. But if in doubt the answer is no, or not until I can watch it WITH you. My answer to that was always I have to watch it first... then decide if you can. I done that with all movies... no matter the rating (other then G)... as I wanted to judge the movie for myself... not be told by others. | | | Pete |
