2 facts for you to consider Terry

1: Your current contribution is incorrect. The cast you submit does not match the program provided to us. Check Jimmy's and you will see his does match.
2: You are lying in your contribution notes. I quote (bold by me):
Quote:
*Updated Notes*
all cast taken from reliable source mainly a program souvenir from a reputable source not affiliated with any other outside third source .and from USA locality approved same UPC .
. The cast does NOT match the program as you claim.

These are both indisputable facts. They are not opinions or guesses.

Lying in your notes is clearly a violation of the contribution process (fact) and you should be penalized (opinion).

Just the fact that you did it puts you on my list of suspicious submitters that I'm sure most people here have. I can't speak for them but I know once someone is caught in a flat out lie I don't trust them any more. Add to that you are leaving it even after being called out on it. I don't even know what to say about that.

For the record:

The program lists as the 1st five uncredited entries (and it continues on forever!):
  • Richard Aherne (uncredited)

  • Philip Ahn (uncredited)

  • Roy Aversa (uncredited)

  • Frank Baker (uncredited)

  • Alex Ball (uncredited)

  • Terry's 1st 5 uncredited entries:
  • Abdullah Abbas as Extra (uncredited)

  • Leo Abbey as Extra (uncredited)

  • Charles Abraham as Extra (uncredited)

  • Dinah Ace as Extra (uncredited)

  • Rosemarie Ace as Extra (uncredited)

  • Jimmy's (nice job with the dividers too Jimmy)
    Featured Players (United States)
  • Richard Aherne (uncredited)

  • Philip Ahn (uncredited)

  • Roy Aversa (uncredited)

  • Frank Baker (uncredited)

  • Alex Ball (uncredited)

  • And with that I'm done with this topic. The facts speak for themselves at this point.

Ken has stated if there is a known lie in a contribution notes to send him the info. That the person will get 1 warning and then a permanent ban for this particular offense.

Of course it is possible that he did take them from the scans but put them into 100% alphabetical order rather than splitting them out like AESP_pres.

Note - I haven't compared the entries, I am simply suggesting that both could be correct but done in different ways.

This is the reason why I sent him a PM with all the details yesterday. If he was serious in the post you have quoted he doesn't any choice but to act on this, since it's one of the most evident time who had caught evident lies in a contribution.

well Ken asked us to use the support ticket for this... so it may be a good idea to do it that way. I think I remember Ken saying earlier that PMs are not the best way to get into touch with him.

Following from my last post I put both lists into Excel and sorted alphabetically & the two do not match. the one by AESP_pres has around 30 more entries. Some names on his list are shown more than once (Alex Ball, Bhogwan Singh to name two) but in the sections they might be listed twice of course.

They were credited in different sections on the uncredited list. I kept them 2 times mainly because it's possible they were different actors with the same name.

Oh indeed. It wasn't intended as a criticism only to point out that the two contributions were different.

I surely wouldn't have the patience to type up that many names!

I understand wanting to give him the benefit of the doubt, but he has already admitted that he did not type anything in.  He simply copied the R1 US profile.  Here is his post from earlier in this thread:

I didn't have to copy and paste anything.. all  you do is change the locality form Canadian back to USA and do a refresh  and then change the locality back to canada .. It's that simple  and not a  lot of typing etc .. Are you going for a sympathy vote here?..

Based on that, his notes are bogus.

    3 thoughts/questions...

    1. widescreenforever just copied the credits from the U.S. profile (he's stated this) and then resubmitted it to the Canadian profile. AESP worked his ass off typing in all those credits from the program scans and submitted those ( ) , and it's shown, there's obviously some very noticeable differences. Seriously, how reliable is the data in the U.S. profile then? This sacred data that is untouchable, has just been shown to be filled with errors. I think that after AESP's contribution is approved, someone should copy it to the U.S. profile as well. That way, we'll finally have it properly documented, and this issue will never have to friggin' be brought up again.

    2. Why are people who obviously don't own the Canadian profile locality voting on it now? If pm's have been sent, proper notes have been filled out and submitted, and AESP has thoroughly documented his impressive work, all should end well. I doubt the extra votes from lyonsden5 and Skip are going to help out much. If I added a german profile to my local just to cast votes on it, I'd be getting my friggin' head chewed off at the moment.

    3. John Gielgud CLT 215/799 vs. 29/71 for Sir John Gielgud (both contributions have him as Sir with no credited as).
Cedric Hardwicke CLT 99/235 vs. 53/148 for Sir Cedric Hardwicke (both contributions have his as Sir with no credited as).

No WAY was I going to vote no on AESP's amazing work, but thought it should be brought up.
The night is calling. And it whispers to me soflty come and play.

    I'll try my best.

    1. This isn't all he had written in his contribution. He had clearly said that his source was the original program and it wasn't. In this thread most had agree to not touch the data since it was mostly correct and Terry decided by himself to pull a removal stunt to prove a point (he was well aware of this thread before doing his stunt). He continue to play the child by not removing his actual contribution and taking this way the chance to see my correct contribution erase by his. Of course I hope that it will be used to correct the other region dvd for this film.

    2. I think it's because it concern all the users, since every one of them will be able to use the cast to submit the correction for the other region. Take note that before Skip and lyonsden5 casted their vote only one yes was cast for my profile and 2 were for the false one.

This isn't one at all. Ken had clearly said to notify him of the blatant lie in the contribution notes when you find those and that's the only thing we do here by documented it (it's easy to delete a contribution to remove the proof). You have also the fact that this selfish act was clearly a provocation and a big F-you to the community doesn't help. Also it isn't the first time he do something like this, but this time he was caught.
