I checked the contribution rules and searched the forum but I could not find any information about the casting director. Do I just omit the casting director from the credits since there is field for it?

Thanks.

You cannot contribute Casting Director to the online database.

Yupp,
omit them.

If you are interested in those credits you may trace them locally.
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

As others said... this does not get contributed.

I don't even know where you would put it for contribution purposes. I see no field it would fit into in the program to contribute it.

Oh?  Perhaps it would help the OP if you would elaborate.

There is nothing in the rules on Casting Director... I used the browser's search function on the printable version of the rules.. the word Casting is no where in the rules at all.

Where is the OP wanting to put this info? I see nothing in the program about Casting at all. I see Director... but just Director is completely different.

There is nothing about the casting director in the rules at all. So why you don't stop wasting our times as you always do and shut the F... up

It's probably just bbbbb being his usual "charming" self again. His reasoning about something about the Casting Director in the rules probably goes like this:

"If someone is not credited with one of these roles (or direct translations of these roles), do not include them in the Crew section."

Since the CD is not listed anywhere, he must not be included and that's the information that is in the contribution rules about the CD.

That explains why you read these forums, but not why you try to amuse us.

You sir are an unpleasant person that goes out of their way to be a jerk.  Should it be in this forum?  No, but why be a jerk towards users that are trying to contribute.  They ask a simple question, sure it might not be in teh right forum, but they are asking for help.  Instead of being an arse, why not try and be helpful?  If you berate someone and make them feel stupid all you are going to do is either for them to give up and not help, or contribute bad data.
