| Posted: | | | | Hi, I'm Falquian's friend, the developer of the little android app My List of Discs (MyLod) and thanks to forum member Mithi who has generously donated me a registration gift I will be able to write directly on the forum, make announcements and discuss your suggestions to improve the app. These are the links to the most recent version (2.0 beta 3), as posted by Falquian some days ago: Android appWindows updaterThey are valid for Android 2.2 or better. There's also a limited app for older androids (up to 1.6) which you can request if needed. Some ideas for the next beta are: - Sort order: normal, alphabetical, by date of purchase... - Google Play integration: easier updates for installed devices. - German translation: again thanks to Mithi. - General bugfixes. - anything you may fancy... :-) I will read & write on the forum from now on, but you can email me to android AT yterbia DOT com if necessary. I hope you'll enjoy the app! |

| Posted: | | | | Hi Yterbia, I installed it earlier, but had a small problem. Not all cover images were shown on my Android tablet. Well, I found a solution! I deleted all the thumbnails in my images folder (not the fullsize images! ), and did a thumbnail rebuild in DVD Profiler. That did the trick. All the front images are now show on my tablet. Keep up the good work! |

| Posted: | | | | Hey glad you are here now !
Thanks for the work on the app.
The newer update fixed almost all of my issues, I still have a small problem with cover images on some child profiles.
In my case the following titles :
ace ventura TAS ace ventura when nature calls the alien anthology archive alien3 aliens the american president armitage III armitage dual-matrix babylon A.D. batman & mr freeze sub-zero the big boss blade : trinity the bourne identity the case of the white chapel vampire / the hound of the baskervilles conan the destroyer dave dumb and dumber fire starter fire starter 2 rekindled fist of fury a fist full of dollars for a few dollars more game of death game of death 2 the good the bad and the ugly hang em high history of the world ice age indiana jones raiders indiana jones temple of doom indiana jones last crusade lethal weapon 4 the mask mission impossible oceans eleven oceans thirteen over the top the perfect storm predator predator2 robocop the royal scandal the specialist star terk generations star terk first contact star terk insurrection star terk nemesis star wars IV A new Hope Star Wars V Empire Strikes Back Star Wars VI Return of the Jedi way of the dragon william shakespear's romeo & juliet wyatt earp
All of them are child profiles. The other info went into the app fine.
Maybe I'll try the thumbnail rebuild as marcelb7 mentioned and see if that fixes it.

| Posted: | | | | Thanks bbbbb, for the screenshot. An additional note: Delete all the images in the thumbnail folder first, then do a rebuild.
The images are in the following folder: ...\DVD Profiler\Databases\<name of your database, usually Default>\Images\Thumbnails |

| Posted: | | | | Yea switched to thumb nail but it didnt give me the option to rebuild thumbnails. Oddly there are 60 new thumb nails, but even viewing the collection it didn't generate any additional thumbnails. Still poking around between customers.... -R |

| Posted: | | | | Hi
Thanks for developing this Android app. I have installed it, but it will not accept the IP address I've typed in. Both my Android and the PC (Server) is on my local wireless, where the PC has got the IP 10.0.0.29.
What am I doing wrong?

| Posted: | | | | Welp without more info I would take a stab at the following.
#1 Export your collection to XML ( I use flags for what I want to export )
#2 Close DVDP
#3 Start the MyLOD PC app
#4 Point it to your XML file AND your DVDP Database
#5 Hit Load XML & Load DB
#6 Start the MyLOD Android App - server server IP to the one loist in the PC app
#7 Hit the update phone button
#8 In the Andorid App Menu - Update and it should just go
If that dosen't work, post up where you had issues

| Posted: | | | | Hello Falquian & Friend,
many thanks for this great app and your work ! I have installed the app on the last weekend, works fine. Synchronisation is simple, my whole collection (about 550 disks) has been transferred without problems.
Thank You Best whishes |

| Posted: | | | | I got it to work once (but with a lot of missing thumbnails and titles. Rebuilt the database, deleted the thumbnails and it seemed to repopulate the folder, which is just as well as I can't see the "Rebuild thumbnails" option).
Now though, I've gone to rerun it and clicking on the "Load XML" button doesn't anything. I've resaved an XML file the same way and browsed to the foler, but nothing, even though it worked OK before. Any ideas? |
