Hopefully we can get some discussion going about future movies in here?

Anyway, the two big stories for me today are:

1) Amy Adams is in talks to star in Pellington's remake of The Orphanage, produced by Guillermo del Toro.

2) Coen Brothers have got their new film financed by StudioCanal. It's called "Inside Llewyn Davies" and follows a struggling folk musician in 60s New York. No cast yet.

More English language remakes. Wish del Toro could put a stop to that.

del Toro is producing though, so taking the payday I think. He needs to quit farting about and make another Hellboy movie though.

Recently w=did a mini-marathon and watched the first 3 films plus the CGI Degeneration. Need to watch the fourth. Good fun IMO and look forward to more in the series.

I agree. They second one was pretty solid for what it was. Lot of good laughs. Shame not a lot of John Hurt though.

Yeah, it's a film I still need to check out but heard a lot of great things.

Looks like Willis has used his power to get Max Payne director John Moore in the chair for Die Hard 5:

Gemma Ward and Callan McAuliffe cast in The Great Gatsby.

Olivia Munn cast in Magic Mike.

DeRay Davis cast in GI Joe 2.

Alan Dale cast in The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.

Annette Bening cast in The Worst Year of My Life.

Romancing the Stone remake now not going ahead, instead being developed for a TV series.

Lone Ranger movie might be on again after a lower budget is put forward.

It's sometimes hard to tell how a film will come out just by looking at production photos, but sometimes it happens. I saw stuff for Catwoman and thought it would suck, and it did, way more than I thought possible even.

Those pics I just saw of Superman give me the exact same feeling I had looking at Catwoman production pics... Good luck, I'll just wait for the blu-ra from the library.

I thought the same thing .. but I did get 'chills'  when I saw that photo of Henry Cavill ......

and you have to keep in mind that the Batman Begins saga (same production ) was far more thrilling/ entertaining than than the first few films of Batman 1989 thru 1997 ... series
