I personally can't wait for this... they are Bringing Wonder Woman back to Live Action TV. Wonder Woman will be played by Adrianne Palicki.

They decided to change the Costume some... Here is of course the classic Lynda Carter Wonder Woman...

And here is Wonder Woman's look in the new series...

Personally I like how they redid the top of her outfit... but not so hot on the pants. I miss the shorts with the white stars Lynda Carter had. But I do think I like the boots better on the new Wonder Woman. So Over-all I guess I like the new outfit a little better.

Thoughts?

Yeah, I don't mind the new outfit either. Could have some more coloring in the spandix below but overall it's alright. I'm also going to give the show a shot, but don't have high hopes it'll get beyond one or two seasons since it's on NBC.

Yeah... I don't expect it to last a long time either... though I would love to be surprised.

On a personal note... I personally think Lynda Carter made the cuter Wonder Woman. But hey... that is just personal preference.

Oh Pete, your going to cost me money again.    I will definitely buy this new show. I think they did a good job modernizing the costume. Linda's costume is great, but way to 70s for a new show.

Yeah... though the more I think about it. I wish they would pick a different actress to play her. Somehow... she just not looking all that good to me. I mean scroll so the picture shows from neck down and wonderful. But the face just don't fit imo. I just can't put my finger on why.

I was never a Big fan of the Lynda Carter shorts, something about the cut bugged me...a little too granny-panties maybe. LOL The long pants don't bug me, I understand they are closer to the current look in the funnies, but the whole outfit is just too plastic-shiny. Personally I think they should bring back the original flowy mini-skirt from the 40s.

I agree with addicted about the actress' face. It seems too...soft I guess. Too oval, maybe, and somehow not strong enough. Too much mid-west farmgirl and not enough Greek Goddess.

It's the lipstick. It totally depends how she's rouged. I didn't like how she looked in the season finale of Smallville. But I liked her in the pilot of Supernatural.

Her face doesn't bother me at all. I give her the benefit of the doubt and believe she can pull it of.

Yea, I don't mind her looks either.  As I understand it, though it has been a while since I read about it, she is supposed to be a younger version.
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.

We will teach it to them again.

She could use some sunlight.  At least the canned variety.

Don't get me wrong guys... it isn't that I don't think she is pretty because I think she is very pretty. It is just something in her face that don't seem believable as Wonder Woman. I don't know.... it is really hard to explain.

The pants are a little too shiny, and it looks like it would be hard to move in them, but overall I really like the new look.  Sexy without looking completely about sex.

Would like the pants to look more maneuverable.  The way they look now it looks like she'd bust a seam doing any kind of fighting.

Here's a look at the current costume in the comic (which, again, I actually really like):

Personally, it's not Wonder Woman if there's no red boots!  Beyond that, I am impressed that they found someone who looks like a modern comic heroine...pneumatic Barbie chest and all.

Mixed feelings on the look.

I like the top piece of the new look but the bottom piece and the boots in the old look.

In looking at the package and it doesn't fit.

I have a few comic book geek buddies and we have talked about casting people for various super heros etc. The one we have ALWAYS had issues casting is WW.

You need someone with a physical presence of a goddess, Strong but still sexy etc.

I think this maybe just a bad shot of the actress, but if this is the pub shot for the series then there is something wrong.

Face is to round and soft, WW has always had a strong jaw line, she needs more muscle definition and a little more mass.

The top of the costume is,  I think spot on, the bottoms just don't look right even for vinyl, and something just seem weird in the proportion from waste to crotch. The Color is too bright, needs to be more subdued, maybe a proper Navy color?

Linda Carter was a classic, but there has to be a young actress out there than can pull this look off.....

RobAGD did a good job at putting a lot of my feelings into the words I couldn't find.
