I'm working on the cast credits for "I Spit on Your Grave" (1978) and was wondering how to credit one of them. It's listed as such:

The children - Tammy & Terry Zarchi

Now, I know it would be Tammy Zarchi [Tammy & Terry Zarchi] and Terry Zarchi [Tammy & Terry Zarchi] but what about the character name? Would it be just "The child"?

Edit: So I guess it wouldn't be that way, not that I care since these two aren't in the database and as far as I can tell, have never appeared in anything since...

I know I'm going to get freaked out at for this because, well, that's the way things go around here...

But I'd do group divider "The Children" followed by individual credits for Tammy Zarchi and Terry Zarchi, followed by a group end divider.

AND, I wouldn't feel bad about doing it either.
The night is calling. And it whispers to me soflty come and play.

Alrighty then. I've seen it done both ways, lol. But what would they be credited as (character wise)? The child? A group divider? What?

Also, no need for the smilies, just tell me about the threads (I actually forgot about them). Sorry, but that and the roll eyes smiley annoy the heck out of me...

I would enter it as group divider.
Imho matches perfectly to this:
Quote:
Use Group dividers to designate cast grouped in the credits such as "Soldiers" or "Additional Cast".

Thank you, sounds reasonable to me. I'll see what others say in the next day or so before submitting as I have some other changes to this profile up for a vote but will probably be approved in the next couple of days.

There not "Smileys" they are Neutral Emoticons, basically I'm saying I'm happy with however you wish to do it but just referring you to the threads so you can read other already posted opinions

Next time I'll just not bother, to many people around here with chips on their shoulders

The simplier, the better

Tammy Zarchi    Child
Terry Zarchi      Child

The fact that this could end with those awful dividers is beyond me...

No chip here, but in my mind it could've said there are two positions on this (here and here - with the links) rather than that way. I took it the wrong way, and I apologize.

So we got 2 for the dividers and 1 w/o. I fear this is one for which it'll be torn, lol. As I amended in my original post, it doesn't matter to me as these two never appeared in anything again.

In fact, even in this movie, they just appear during one minute, without real acting. Since credits are short, with a divider they will visually appear as far more important that they are.

I'd go with a Divider. The Children matches the credits closer than Child.

Like Merrik and Katatonia this seems to me the most logical thing to do.

Group dividers aren't bount to the actual screen time. I don't see how credits with a divider appear more important actually and by rules this isn't an argument not to.

You don't see, and that is visually obvious to me. That is probably why we disagree so often...
