| Posted: | | | | The first actor in the group has Zombie #1 opposite it So do you just use a group divider "Zombie #1" (their all Zombie #1) or should you continue the credit without divider Zombie #1 Zombie #2 Zombie #3 and so on Think i already know the answer but just want to confirm |

| Posted: | | | | How can that many people be "Zombie #1" ?
It's obvious that the first actor is Zombie #1, and the rest are "Zombies".
But of course, this is DVD Profiler, where we just blindly follow the rules rather than applying logic to unique situations.
Pretty sad if you ask me. | | | 99.9% of all cat plans consist only of "Step 1." |

| Posted: | | | | I think this may be a translation issue:
We are interpreting "Zombie #1" to mean "zombie number one", but at the end of the list of names there is a thank-you which reads (roughly):
"A big thank you to all the zombie # 2 and # 3 that has contributed to a make this project so good as it has been"
This makes me think that maybe "Zombie #1" actually means "primary zombies" which would make sense as a group role. |

Pretty sad if you ask me. We follow the credits because if we do it the way you suggest, makes an assumption. We do not know what the film makers thoughts were, and as North deduced from further down the credits may very well be the case. If we move away from what is credited in the screen, then we are not cataloging the DVD or Movie. Stick with what is presented, within the capabilities of the program. Charlie |

I think that if the goal is to build the less usefull database possible, following blindly those rules is not so bad... | | | Images from movies | | | Last edited: by surfeur51 |

Don't make any assumptions.
Just take 'Zombie #1' as the group heading. | | | Last edited: by GreyHulk |

Pretty sad if you ask me. My god, yes. It's situations like these where I'm so glad that you can change things local so common sense can be applied at least somewhere. | | | Reviewer, HorrorTalk.com

| Posted: | | | | This is why I say that comman sense isn't always common. You see 'Zombie #1' and believe it to mean 'Zombie Number One', which it might not. This is not an English title, it is Norwegian. Because of that, 'Zombie #1' may not mean what we assume it means. While I think northbloke has it right, it would be quite helpful if one of our Norwegian friends could shed some light on this. That being said, the rules allow for us to add a role, from another source, when one isn't listed in the credits. I looked at Filmgrid.no and they list them as 'Zombie'. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. Sure, not everyone has common sense, or might see things differently, but it's called common sense for a reason. I'm sorry, but I just hate seeing the blindly following of the rules with the excuse of 'common sense is different for everyone' when it's really not. It would be called something different if it was. Or it wouldn't be called it at all. | Posted: | | | | I don't know where the confusion comes from. Why do we make assumptions that the others should be Zombie #2, Zombie #3, .... We have the credits and no matter what the idea of the filmmakers have been to call it Zombie #1, we can copy it as it is. It could also be that Zombie #1 is played by all the different actors and then the continued numbering would be wrong. So why thinking about this? |
