Today my cat Gracie died, she was 20 years old and had lived with me for 18 of those years. She was a dear member of my family, always there during those tough times I went through in my life, never judging (well, unless she wanted fed, of course) and always purring. What do you mean? I think he's referring to the picture above, where it looks like there is a small bell around her neck. I know what you are going through. I just had one of my cats, Skittles, put to sleep about 2 hours ago. She had a stroke around two weeks ago and lost most of her mobility to the point that she couldn't even lift her head yesterday and stopped eating about 4 days ago. It's always tough when they go, but it really helps when you have other pets to help pick you up and take your mind off the departed one. |

It is really tough to see that (my childhood dog had something similar happen). Yeah, it does help having others to take your mind off at least for a bit. | | Posted: | | | | My deepest sympathies to you and your family. I know exactly how you feel. My Shakira was over 20 when she died and I had had her for most of that time as I got her as 10 week old kitten! I still miss her after 2 years and I know I always will.
Your Gracie will always be a part of you even if she is not physically there as so aptly shown by Dr Kil!
