I've had several friend/family have LASIK done, and so far I've never heard any complaints from them. One friend joked about how it was difficult for him at first to get used to it. I asked what he meant, and he said that he kept reaching up to adjust his glasses that were no longer there

Then prepare to wear glasses again soon, once you are getting far-sighted from getting older


Seriously, the above the one concern why I hadn't done it myself. Although, as bad as my eyes are they probably couldn't get them to exactly "normal" anyway. Just having had my eyes checked last week, it indeed seems my vision is getting better (for above reasons).

Anyway, hope it all heals well. Also curious if you will get the other eye done as well.

Although being an experienced relay swimmer, Jason Lezak, with 32 years oldest male in the U.S. swim team, simply couldn't win. Which was also swam in this relay, by third frenchman Frederique Bousquet, thus ensuring Bernard's half second advantage. Australian start swimmer Eamon Sullivan swam world record 100m free, Phelps against him american record. U.S. won with only 0.08 advantage, the total time 3:08.24 was 4 seconds faster than the previous world record, five teams beat the old record. Unbelievable.
