I'm incredibly sad today, my dog Tara died last night.

I can't seem to stop crying so I'm hoping you will submit some happy memories or stories to help me feel a little better.

From my mums experince buying another puppy soon after helps. It's always something she has done shes like i can't get another dog next day shes out has another dog. Yes it does not replace the other dog but it helps fill a void and gives you something to cuddle and nurture and put your love into.

Tara was a mixed breed. Her mom was a Shepard mix and her father a Rottweiler. I adopted her and her brother Jay over 13 years ago. Jay died last year from cancer, the same thing Tara died from. I don't know how to post this picture but here is a link. Tara is in the center and Jay on the left. The blond beauty on the right is Nina a Chinese Shar Pei and Australian Shepard mix who is 16.

Man, cats I can take or leave. But dogs rule. Sorry to hear that, Kathy.

Kathy,

I sorry to hear of your loss. I know how it feels to lose a furry friend, if your memories are fond ones (and I gather from you sadness they.) then they are never far from you.

Kathy, I am sorry about your loss but do spend some time looking at the enjoyment you had/have with your pets! I find this helped when I lost Shakira, Tabitha and Zuleika.

I'm sorry for your loss, Kathy.

Wouldn't know what to do if one of my three passed away.

One is my avatar the other two are here:

It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?
