| Posted: | | | | I don't know if anyone else has ever had this, but I submitted an update to The Laughing Dead (5-060010-590088) yesterday, but it wouldn't let me look at the contribution, instead I got the "unable to evaluate selected contribution" screen. I've just tried resubmitting in case there was a glitch, but no change. I can look at all my other contributions no problem. Could someone check to see if they can evaluate this contribution? |

| Posted: | | | | That's what I was worried about. Thanks for checking, I'll open a support ticket. |

| Posted: | | | | Can you withdraw either or both?
Maybe try to withdraw then contribute again... |

| Posted: | | | | That's what I had done. The first one on AESP's grab was yesterday's submission, which I withdrew before I submitted the second one. But as AESP says, the second also can't be evaluated. |

| Posted: | | | | You ticked a BY box which means that it doesn't get voted on - only the screeners will evaluate your BY submission.
And you didn't provide enough evidence so it'll probably get declined. |

(Source that there are different actors/crew members in database with the same name) Then it should get through. | | | Last edited: by VirusPil |

And you didn't provide enough evidence so it'll probably get declined. When did that start happening? And I also didn't provide evidence as I didn't add the BY, it's already in the online, I simply didn't want to remove it. |

| Posted: | | | | What I meant was the BY is already attached to Tim Sullivan on that profile, and I didn't want that to change as I have no evidence that it should be removed. Edit: and a quick search on IMDB shows 19 Tim Sullivans. Obviously not all will be relevant to us, but some will be. Edit (again): Can I ask, what would happen if I resubmitted without ticking the box? Will that remove the BY from the profile? | | | Last edited: by northbloke |

| Posted: | | | | But for the online database that doesn't mean anything. You have to provide extra documentation to distinguish between the two or more different persons to warrant the submitted BY (as VirusPil already pointed out). Just have a look here to see what to do. You'll have to include that kind of documentation in the contribution notes. Once the BY(s) is/are accepted into the online db (i.e. your contribution got accepted by the screeners/Ken/Gerry), you can post your notes in the Accepted BYs thread as a reference for future contributions including this BY. | | | 1.0.1, iPhone 3GS, iOS 4.1.0

| Posted: | | | | I think you're misunderstanding me. I'm not wanting to add a BY to the online, I only want to prevent its removal because I can't document that. |

| Posted: | | | | Saw your edit too late...
If you don't tick the box, the BY won't be submitted and you won't need to document it. Your local BY won't be overwritten by future profile updates, either.
EDIT: OK, sorry, I just realized, that the BY is in the online profile. Then I guess you'll have to provide documentation... But I'm not sure, never had such a case... | | | 1.0.1, iPhone 3GS, iOS 4.1.0

| Posted: | | | | Ok, I'll give that a go - but if that BY disappears, I'm blaming you! Edit: that seems to have been the issue, thanks, I can now see the evaluate screen no problem. Strange that Support couldn't have told me that. | | | Last edited: by northbloke |
