The rules say to leave off suffixes like Inc, Ltd, Co., etc. Does this apply to words that are spelled out, rather than abbreviated. Some profiles have gone one way with Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation and some have gone the other.

You left out the dash between "Century" and "Fox".

In what context, Ace. the credit is Twntieth Century Fox or with the hyphen, PERIOD. What you are talking about is the Copyright sometimes, but that is not what we track. Are you interpreting again.

I'd propose to shorten several others as well, to cut down on the number of variations.

Like Columbia Pictures Film Production Asia (not according to the rules, I know).

I also spotted Casey-Werner with or without Productions and/or Company, all the variations on Buena Vista, or Disney, or Dreamworks.

The way we presently do it, results in a very messy list. If I clean it up, it only takes a few weeks of updates to be messed up again.

We track "Release Studio(s)" and "Production Company(s)".  You'll have a difficult time convincing me that "Twentieth Century-Fox Film Corporation" (aka "Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation") is not a production company.

Have you ever seen Twentieth Century-Fox Film Corporation credited, Scott. I don't think you can say yes, I NEVER have. They are the Copyright holder, the PARENT of the Production Company.

I know I've seen the name written out this way in Fox films of the late 1930s.  Can't give you a title off the top of my head though.
