Anyone have any feedback on The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor?  I enjoyed the first 2 Mummy movies, and even the Scorpion King (but not as much).  I'm thinking at $2 for a blind-buy, might be worth it.

Worth $2 to complete the set but nowhere near as fun the first two.

IMO even worse than "The Scorpion King" as it has the same characters as the first two but a story far, far away from anything the first two represented and even more "sandy" than the two "stingy king" features.

For $ 2,00 surely ok for collection purposes, but with regards to viewing pleasures I'd steer clear

Good to know!  So, it sounds like Rachel Weisz was wise to not return to her role.

I actually enjoyed it. Of course like others have been saying, it's not as good as the first two, but sequels usually aren't by the third one. Now the Scorpion King that was a horrible movie. Saw it in theatres when it came out and that was the last time.

Thinking about buying the Mummy for 2 bucks myself to finish the collection. Saw it once...well...once was fine for me.  A couple cute parts but missed Weisz.  Very, very cheesy. That about sums it up.

I grabbed Hellboy II for $2 this morning... and hoping to catch the latest Mummy (never seen it) for $2 later today if I am near the computer at the time.

Harry Potter is actually marked down already to match Wal-Mart (the first five movie are all $10, in fact). I probably would have bitten on these if they hadn't just announced ultimate editions.

Oh boy, I just got back from Wal-Mart.

They were out of The Mummy movie, Hellboy II, G.I. Joe, Star Trek, 17 Again, Year One.
In fact they were fairly picked over.

I managed to snag a few deals.
$2 each
Blazing Saddles
Underworld
Underworld Evolution
The Marine: Unrated

$5 each
Surf's Up
Paul Blart Mall Cop

$9
Aliens in the Attic

They also had Gran Tarino for $5, but it was the Full Screen edition, so I passed.

It was a complete madhouse. I waited in the checkout line for 1 hour.

Last year wasn't too bad, but this year it was much, much more crowded. Never again. I don't even care if they have DVDs for $1, it's just not worth it.

I been doing all my Christmas/Black Friday shopping online for a few years now. I don't go to the actual stores this time of the year unless I have absolutely no choice in the matter.
