I guess it would be possible to add the button though a plugin or a skin, but personally I can't be bothered as I access them though Media Center's userinterace. | | | Regards Lars |

| Posted: | | | | I've ripped dozens of my legit DVDs to my HDD with Video Vault for Video iPod so that I could watch them on-the-go with my iPod. There's absolutely nothing wrong with that. Of course the films I've ripped were not copy protected. | | | My WebGenDVD online Collection |

| Posted: | | | | I think the answer is yes. You can do this. But for whatever reason, I doubt you'll find much help here. | | | Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here. Create fake parent profiles to organize your collection. |

Looking at some of the threads, it appears that harassment is allowable, as long two or more members do it to each other... | | | Hans |

| Posted: | | | | Boy, I was under the impression the people around here were more tech-savvy than they appear to be. I have ripped all of my owned DVDs to my server. They are played through my HTPC. This is perfectly within the bounds of fair use. RIPPED does not mean BOOTLEG nor ILLEGAL.
You folks need to calm down and study up.
My question was has anybody developed the plugin/html/capability that allows mapping to the video_ts file so that the DVD could be launched from within DVDP.
Apparently the answer is no. Too bad. I know many, many people who would find this a very attractive feature. |

| Posted: | | | | Actually, I think Mithirandir's Skin is able to do that... So, at least it's not impossible and it has been done.
I know, as I have tested it for him. I believe it works with either VLC or PowerDVD (the latter was incorporated "for me"). | | | Achim [諾亞信; Ya-Shin//Nuo], a German in Taiwan. Registered: May 29, 2000 (at InterVocative) |

Not sure what Theatertek is (a layout....?). Mithirandir's Skin uses Java to make it possible. JavaScript, used for HTML windows, cannot open other programs to play the file. | | | Achim [諾亞信; Ya-Shin//Nuo], a German in Taiwan. Registered: May 29, 2000 (at InterVocative) |
